Vilma Vasiliauskaitė knew from an early age that she would be an artist. Her oeuvre is incredibly particular, with various stylistics and colors. Many of the artist‘s works are now in the private collections in Lithuania and in foreign countries (Israel, Hungary, Austria, Norway, Russia). V. Vasiliauskaitė comments on her exhibition as follows: “I probably create in a highly unpopular way: I don‘t break anything, I don‘t protest, I don‘t even try to shock. There will be no sharp angles. The viewer is free to come without holding any fear to hurt his soul…”. Authors‘ painting is not a political arena but rather an expression of the soul of an artist that reflects not only the spirit of the author but also all the world surrounding it.
