“EuropeSpa” is the official ESPA quality assessment system and “EuropeSpa’s” certification system is known as one of the strictest in the field of European health.
To obtain this certificate, in the first half of the year of 2019, ESPA experts carried out performance audits at medical SPA Eglės sanatorija in Birštonas and Druskininkai, assessing more than 400 criteria covering safety, hygiene and infrastructure, in line with international standards and legislation. Not only the quality of products and services, but also technical pool equipment, food production equipment, quality of accommodation, qualification of employees, etc. were evaluated. To qualify for a “EuropeSpa” medicine certificate, an institution must meet at least 80% of all requirements.
