Is wearing a medical mask/respirator mandatory at the medical SPA?
Yes, the medical SPA is a medical institution, therefore, pursuant to the instructions of the Government, all clients and employees must wear medical masks or respirators at the medical SPA premises. Except for the cases when wearing a mask/respirator hinders the performance of a treatment, a mask or respirator is not mandatory while consuming food as well.
Is the Swimming Pool and Sauna Complex open?
Swimming Pool and Sauna Complexes in Druskininkai and Birštonas are open for all both guests, staying and not staying in the medical SPA. The body temperature of all persons who intend to enter the Swimming Pool and Sauna Complex is measured. For the clients and employees safety, only people having no fever and infection symptoms are allowed into the Swimming Pool and Sauna Complex.
How is catering organised?
Catering for all guests is organised as a buffet. Upon entering the catering premises, a person must wear a medical mask or respirator and disinfect hands. Guests are asked to put the food on a plate wearing disposal gloves; taking off a medical mask or respirator is allowed only during food consumption.
Guests also have an opportunity in Druskininkai to order food and beverages to their room from a special menu.

Is it mandatory to take COVID-19 disease test before the arrival?
Pursuant to Order of the Ministry of Health No. V-1553, from 1st July the patients staying for scheduled treatments do not need to take COVID-19 disease test. The test is only taken by the decision of a doctor if COVID-19 symptoms are noticed or the patient meets the epidemiological criteria.
What should I do if COVID-19 symptoms occur while staying at the medical SPA?
If you notice one of the possible infection symptoms (fever, cough, laboured breathing, sudden loss of smell and taste, general weakness, headache and muscle pain, chills, vomiting, diarrhoea) stay in your room and inform the reception.
What additional measures are taken to ensure the safety of both, the employees and clients, at the medical SPA?
In order to limit the number of contact, flows are separated at the medical SPA (at the expense of NHIF and guests arriving at their own expense) different specialists work with them, individual catering is provided, treatments are performed in separate rooms.
Surfaces, such as tabletops, rails of the staircase, lifts, and their control buttons are disinfected using special preparations more often than usual. Reliable ventilation system operates at the big medical SPA premises for crowds, all premises are ventilated additionally at determined time intervals.
I have a gift voucher which I couldn’t use due to quarantine. What should I do?
You do not need to take any additional actions. The validity of all gift vouchers of the medical SPA “Eglės sanatorija” which were valid until 23/12/2020 shall be extended automatically, as a result, you can use the services until 23/12/2020, regardless of the date indicated on your gift voucher.
Do leisure events take place at the medical SPA?
Yes, at the medical SPA, in accordance with all safety requirements, events for the clients staying at the medical SPA are organised. Additionally, Children’s Playroom, playground and sports courts are open in both cities.
